Playback & browsers

Continuo streams your audio losslessly and plays it gapless — no silence between tracks — the way an album is meant to run. This relies on modern browser audio features (the Web Audio API and AudioWorklet) that every up-to-date browser supports.

Compatibility mode

If your browser is out of date, Continuo automatically falls back to standard playback so you can still hear everything. Audio still streams losslessly; you may just hear a brief gap as one track changes to the next. When that happens, the player shows a short notice that links here.

Get seamless playback

Update to the latest version of any of these, then reload the page:

• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge

On a phone or tablet, update your browser through your device’s app store or system update.
